Syria: President Bashar al-Assad reelected with 95.1% of the vote

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was re-elected for a seven-year term with 95.1% of the vote, the Speaker of Parliament announced on Thursday (May 27), following a poll criticized by the opposition and Western countries .
