Arson was suspected at the mobile sampling station at Sha Tsui Road Playground in Tsuen Wan.
At 2 o'clock in the morning today (28th), several tents and a batch of anti-epidemic materials placed in the open space of the upper site suddenly caught fire. The firefighter received the report and dragged the hose to put out the fire.
After the incident, about 20 meters by 10 meters in area was burnt down. A batch of gloves, saline, tents and other materials were burned. Adjacent stands and toilet walls were severely blackened, and the glass fences of some stands were burned to the ground. Burst and smash.
After preliminary investigation by the fire department, it was believed that the cause of the fire was suspicious, and the police took over for follow-up.
