During the past week, members of the Judicial Police of the General Electricity Company of Homs organized about 24 seizures of illegal electricity.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Eng. Saleh Omran, director of the Homs Electricity Company, said that the inspection rounds covered several areas, including Deir Baalba, Zahra, Karama, Ain Hussein, and al-Qabo.
According to Omran, the tours aim to reduce the illegal use of electric current, which affects the reliability and stability of the network.
