MEP Luisa Regimenti announced that she had left the Lega delegation and the Identity and Democracy Group for the mixed group in the European Parliament.
"I perfectly agree with the project of a single center-right party in Italy, not a federation but an autonomous subject with strong values such as Atlanticism and Europeanism, which can propose a vision of government for our country that both long-term, "Regimenti said.
"I hope that this will happen as soon as possible. The position of the parliamentary group Identità Democrazia, however, with respect to this initiative does not agree with the vision of the League present in the government and leaves us continually in difficulty with respect to the European and Italian project and to the voters. this I decided to leave the ID group and join the Mixed group ", concludes the note.
