The US company Google has issued a warning about the emergence of famous applications in the Android operating system that can steal the passwords of users of the social networking platform Facebook.
Google said, according to the specialized technical website Engadget, that it is racing against time to withdraw some applications from its online store, Google Play, on the Android operating system, because they seriously violate the privacy of users and steal Facebook passwords.
These applications trick Android systems into downloading JavaScript systems to download Facebook passwords with ease.
Google is currently restricting the applications that carry this malware, which has been downloaded more than 5.8 million times, and is seeking to remove it permanently from its online store.
