SANA monitored the activities of one of the summer clubs in the Martyr Jihad Hammadi School in Qatifah, where Fakhri Al-Jallab, the assistant director of education for basic education affairs in the district, explained that these clubs contribute to developing students’ skills and developing their talents through various activities, including cultural, sports and educational activities such as mathematics, English language, drawing, music and mental arithmetic, pointing to Selection of highly qualified coaches in the club from all specializations.

The summer clubs are spread according to Al-Jallab throughout the governorate, which includes 12 educational complexes, each of which implements one or more summer clubs according to the geographical location and population density. The club continues for two months during Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays from five to seven in the evening.

The director of the club in the region, Ola Mosleh, explained that the announcement of the club was made through the school’s page on social media and other pages in the region, and there was a great turnout by the parents to register their children, noting that there were three halls to compensate for the educational loss in basic materials caused by the long vacation as a result of the Corona pandemic to remain The student is in contact with the curriculum.

Mosleh described the club’s registration fee as symbolic, amounting to 6 thousand pounds, while the children of the martyrs, the wounded, the pioneer pioneers and the children of teachers are accepted free of charge.

Samira Al-Najjar, an activist in the club, stressed in turn the importance of achieving education and the values ​​of discipline and commitment in clubs through entertaining activities, pointing to the great interaction of children.

In the clubs, children learn useful activities and skills, such as recycling materials and environmental waste, and using them in handicrafts such as plastic cans, wooden sticks, metal cans and cardboard, and these works will be displayed at the end of the club through a special exhibition.

Among the students participating in the club, Omar Muhammad Maree said that he came to the club to learn and practice various activities, indicating that his favorite activity is mental arithmetic, while the child Hanan Najjar expressed her happiness with the sports activities, games, trips and theatrical performances offered by the club.
