The Central Russian Military District announced today that its artillery forces carried out exercises during which they eliminated the fortified command posts of the supposed enemy at the Totsky training field in the city of Orenburg near the Ural River.
The TASS news agency quoted the region's press office as saying that under the scenario of the exercises, Orlan drones monitored the positions of the supposed enemy, while the Masta-S self-propelled howitzers and Grad multiple launch systems moved to eliminate them.
The statement explained that the artillery batteries directed focused strikes on enemy targets from protected firing positions, which led to the elimination of the supposed enemy's command centers.
More than 1,000 soldiers and about 120 military equipment and weapons participated in the exercises, according to the region's statement.
