Tehran-Sana
Iran's ambassador and permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Kazem Gharibabadi, affirmed that Iran will continue to develop nuclear technology according to its technical needs and will not wait for permission from anyone.
In his statement, Abadi said that there is no value in the artificial fears about Iran's production of small amounts of pure uranium by some parties to the nuclear agreement, stressing that the decision to produce uranium comes within the framework of reducing our nuclear obligations.
The Iranian ambassador added that during the Vienna negotiations, we asked to secure uranium metal fuel, but the parties to the nuclear agreement did not provide guarantees for that, pointing out that reviving the nuclear agreement should ensure that Tehran obtains its needs of uranium metal from the countries that own it in the world.
Gharibabadi had announced that his country would soon start making silicide fuel for use in the Tehran nuclear reactor, pointing out that the International Atomic Energy Agency was informed of this matter 9 days ago, and then its operational procedures began immediately.
He explained that this step, which significantly raises the level of production of radioactive drugs in terms of quantity and quality, will turn Iran into one of the advanced countries in the field of nuclear technology.
