In May 2018, attention turned towards southern Syria after the Syrian Arab Army restored safety to the southern neighborhoods of Damascus, and in June began sending reinforcements stationed at the so-called “triangle of death” front, an area linking the countryside of Daraa, Damascus and Quneitra, and the main line of defense for the western countryside of Damascus.
This military epic, which was written by the valor of our army, was presented by the second story of the dramatic epic “Because It is My Country,” which presented the battles to purify strategic sites and hills from the clutches of terrorism, the most important of which is “Tal Al-Hara,” where the terrorists were based on the logistical support of the Zionist occupation entity.
Over the course of about 3 episodes, with the participation of 26 actors and actresses, the story, titled “The Road to the South,” witnessed a complex drama in terms of the multiplicity of events and their realism. On the one hand, it talks about the heroism of our valiant army and the battles it fought in the southern region, and on the other hand, about the complexity of the affiliations of armed terrorist groups And its direct connection to the Zionist enemy and its workers to it. On the humanitarian side, it sheds light on the crimes that the population in these areas endured from the crimes of terrorist organizations.
This story talked about a family that affected Syrian families in the areas that deceived some of its sons, some of them joined the ranks of the terrorists, then moved on to the presentation of national reconciliations that the state sought to establish without neglecting the state of “awakening of conscience” among some individuals who were deceived by terrorism claims and their return to the bosom of their country and its institutions.
The story documents, with information and reports revealed by the United Nations, that the Zionist enemy forces established a field hospital near the borders of the occupied Syrian Arab Golan, and transported wounded terrorists for medical treatment in field hospitals inside the occupied territories, in addition to logistical support for terrorist organizations.
The episodes of the second story of “Because It is My Country” shows that the occupation entity did not achieve any result as a result of its complicity with terrorism and an epidemic of failure because the people of the southern region did not submit or weaken in the face of the threats and pressures of the terrorists, which reached the point of issuing takfiri fatwas against those who refused to cooperate with them. The one country is the rejection of this enemy that occupies our land and robs us of its resources.
The massive production of this tale, and through its pages, through an individual, represented a wider area for the military operations that our valiant army fought in the southern region to be closer to the scenes of live and real battles due to the importance of this battle militarily and the lives of our brave soldiers without a moment of hesitation in order to preserve the soil of the south. They cleared this land all the way to the Jordanian border and reopened the Nassib crossing.
The story showed that our brave sacrifices culminated in purifying the Yarmouk Basin area of ISIS terrorists after violent battles that led to the killing and wounding of hundreds of them, so that the strategic achievement of clearing “Tal Al-Hara” was. In August 2018, the announcement was made that southern Syria is free of terrorism, with the exception of the Badia.
