In September last year, a man commissioned his business partner to temporarily store about 900 bottles of wine in a warehouse on Hung Cheung Road, Tuen Mun. Later, the male victim requested the batch of wine to be retrieved in June this year, but the other party failed to return the total. With a total of 489 bottles worth about 25 million yuan, the male victim called the police for help.

The Tuen Mun Police District Crime Squad took over and followed up and targeted a target man. A 42-year-old local man named Leung was arrested on suspicion of theft in Kowloon yesterday (9th).

The arrested person is currently being detained for investigation, and the police do not rule out more arrests.

It is understood that the arrested man is the former chief executive officer of a listed company. After he was suspected of being entrusted with storing the wine, he auctioned the wine privately for profit.

Later, the victim asked to retrieve the famous wine, but the arrested person could not return it, and the incident finally happened.

According to the information, the listed company sells and wholesales various wine and spirits products in Hong Kong. There was a high-level personnel change in June.
