The tourist was injured in the throat and taken to the nearest hospital, but his life is not in danger.
The woman who accompanied him is unharmed, according to police sources, the reasons for the assault are unknown.
The injured tourist is of Spanish nationality.
The aggressor, who is said to be of Romanian nationality, allegedly made inconsistent remarks at the time of his arrest.
He was quickly overpowered by passers-by and police.
He is unknown to the police and intelligence services, and the terrorist trail is not privileged.
During his arrest, the assailant explained that he shouted “Allah Akbar” during the assault.
