A year and a half after the murder of his brother: A 25-year-old man was shot dead in Kafr Qassem
Police have begun investigating the circumstances of the incident.
The young man, Nissim Abu Jaber, is the brother of Johar who was shot dead in the city in December 2019. According to data from the Aman Center, so far this year 62 people have been murdered in Arab society.

A 25-year-old man was shot dead tonight (Thursday) in Kafr Qassem.
The young man, Nissim Abu Jaber, is the brother of Johar Abu Jaber, who was also murdered in the city a year and a half ago.
Medical crews called to the scene were forced to determine his death.
Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
In December 2019 Johar was found unconscious in a human condition after being shot in the city.
Medical officials determined his death at the scene.
He was 30 at the time of his death.

The committee of Arab authorities said in response to the shooting: "Chaos continues to rage in our streets. We must stop it, we must not remain silent. We call on the Israeli government to act immediately and send a clear message that this violence can not continue and blood cannot continue to be shed. .
According to the Aman Center for Combating Violence, so far this year 62 people have been murdered in Arab society, including 53 men and nine women.
Advocate Rada Jaber, director of the Aman Center, told Walla! Last week that "this year by all indications will end in a very high number of murders, more than in all recent years."
