Authorities did not disclose the identity of the person, who was taken to a hotel and placed in solitary confinement, the spokesman explained. For her part, the president of Tokyo 2020, Seiko Hashimoto, said that "we are doing everything possible to prevent any outbreak of Covid. If we find ourselves with an outbreak, we will make sure we have a plan in place to respond".
