Bolsonaro was admitted to the Hospital of the Armed Forces of Brasilia with abdominal pain and after having suffered repeated hiccups in recent days.
The president was transferred in an Air Force plane from Brasilia to the São Paulo airport of Congonhas and taken from there by ambulance to the Vila Nova Star private hospital, according to AFP.
