The leap into party politics of the economist and journalist Martín Tetaz, or the neuroscientist Facundo Manes, both in Together for Change, now joins a political scientist -and influencer in networks such as Twitter-

 Sabrina Ajmechet

, promoted by Patricia Bullrich, who will candidate for national deputy for the City of Buenos Aires on the list of María Eugenia Vidal.

The pre-candidacy of the professor of Argentine Political Thought at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and vice president of the Argentine Political Club, a think tank of intellectuals critical of Kirchnerism, was announced

in a video on social networks

by Bullrich, president of PRO, who had to

desist from his own application

in the negotiation for the lists of the opposition space.

"I have offered Sabrina Ajmechet the candidacy for national deputy. Sabrina is one of the

intellectuals of the new generation

who is seeking a change towards freedom and the republic. She has a degree in Political Science and a doctorate in History. It is a new air for the generations that want to make Argentina a country in which each one has a life plan, "said Bullrich, dressed in a leather jacket, when making the announcement.

The lack of ideas threatens our freedom.

We need citizens capable of reversing so much decline.

That is why I promoted the candidacy for national deputy of Sabrina @Ajmechet, a young academic with experience and a transforming look to rebuild hope and the future.

"I greet everyone who is getting to know me with your presentation.

This step

is

difficult

but very important for me. I have been committed to politics for many years from the analysis, or from the participation as vice president of the Argentine Political Club, or in the field university ", explained the new candidate in turn.

It's true.

Ajmechet is a radio columnist and regularly publishes texts in different media, as she is usually

summoned to provide her analysis

on television.

"But we are at a time when I really feel that we have the opportunity to make Argentina

the country in which we want to live

, in which we want our children to live. I want to contribute to that," she continued, flanked by Bullrich, in an environment with colorful plants.

Posted in graphics, followed in networks

As a doctor in history and political analyst, Ajmechet has published texts and collaborated as a columnist in graphic media such as

La Nación

,

Clarín,

and

Perfil

;

and participated as a co-host or analyst in several radio and television programs.

But it is from Twitter where he built a critical and interesting voice for the analysis of current affairs.

With sharp comments, he accumulates more than 20 thousand followers and has a podcast on Spotify.

Her influencer skills were immediately reflected on the networks: "Congratulations Sabrina"

became TT

after her posting.

She is also one of the intellectuals who has signed letters with harsh criticism of the Government.

The last one, less than a month ago, accompanied Beatriz Sarlo and Juan José Sebreli, among others, in the document that in the face of the elections states: "If Kirchnerism wins seats, it will empty every last drop of democracy."

"Kirchnerism tried to

appropriate the press

, colonize justice and perpetuate itself in power through family alternation."

And while he warns that "that plan failed due to the resistance of civil society, the Supreme Court rulings and the electoral defeat they suffered in 2015," part of that text said.

of the sessions of the Chamber of Deputies and I am going to start contributing

my bit by doing them

."

, Ajmechet wrote columns on "The 'Etchevehere affair': the political uses of the gender agenda", "The passion of Peronism for stories";

or "Meritocracy and cronyism", among others.
