Alice Lorenz and Maria Feckl are the new spokespersons for the local association of Green Forsters / Pastetten.

Otherwise almost only women are involved in the new board.

Forstern / Pastetten - On April 19, 2018, the local association of Green Forstern / Pastetten was founded with five members.

"In these three years we have grown by 180 percent to 14 members, an incredible rate," said spokeswoman Alice Lorenz at the general meeting at the Hirschbachwirt in Forstern, which also included new elections.

Lorenz and co-speaker Thorsten Scharmatinat took stock together.

At least regional, European and local elections had to be held during this time.

"During this time we were able to win over well-known personalities for lectures", explained Scharmatinat.

This included the Greens MPs Andreas Krahl and Johannes Becher.

There was also a meeting with the latter at the Fendsbacher Hof to discuss day care options.

Local elections 2020 in focus

Above all, however, the 2020 local elections were the focus of the local association.

“We had a great election campaign with Maria Feckl,” summed up Lorenz.

Feckl ran for the mayor's office in Forstern and was known to be inferior to Rainer Streu (AWG).

To do this, she and her party made it into the local council, where the Greens now have three seats.

In Pastetten, the party with Alice and Christian Lorenz also entered the council.

“From zero to two.

This means that the parliamentary group is just as strong as the CSU, ”said Lorenz with a smile.

Climate protection, affordable housing, looking after the elderly and flowering areas are important issues in both communities.

For Scharmatinat, transparency in the committee is an explosive issue. “We are also driving our mayor insane with it,” he remarked with a wink.

Under the leadership of district spokesman Stefan Herbasch, the new election then proceeded quite quickly, although there were some changes.

In addition to Alice Lorenz, who has been confirmed as spokeswoman, Maria Feckl now acts in the same position.

The 56-year-old was most recently an assessor.

She currently works in the Munich office of the Greens MdL Anne Franke.

Gudrun Huber-Kagerer (48) was elected as secretary, replacing Christian Lorenz. The mother of three works as a strategic buyer for the hospitals in the district of Upper Bavaria (kbo). A fresh wind is blowing in the ranks of the assessors. Hannah and Lena-Marie Huber and Jonas Lorenz will occupy these positions in the future. The 17-year-old twins Hannah and Lena-Marie have only been members of the Greens for a few days and now want to really get involved. Lena-Marie is a student at the Heilig Blut girls' secondary school, Hannah is learning to be a nanny and might want to train as an educator. Jonas Lorenz (23) is studying business administration and only returned to Pastetten a few days ago after studying abroad in Oman and Croatia.

Christoph Lochmüller, a Bundestag candidate from the Erding-Ebersberg constituency, was one of the first to congratulate. Lochmüller - entrepreneur and sideline organic farmer - had previously presented his views on climate change and unnecessary land use in a short speech.
