The lack of rains has put the authorities of the province of Santa Fe, in Argentina, on alert, as it has caused a reduction in the water level of the Paraná River.
The period from 2020 to 2021 is now one of the most critical and efforts have been redoubled to maintain potable water service in the region.
The authorities warn that the phenomenon can last until September.
