", indicates the weather forecast. The high mountain gendarmerie confirms this at the start of the ascent, at Bérarde en Oisans. Full of alacrity, I stormed the mountain, loaded with mountaineering and bivouac equipment. Objective: sleep at the Col de la Temple, at an altitude of more than 3300 meters, to climb Pic Coolidge at sunrise, a rocky point in the heart of the Ecrins massif. At the morning hour when I leave, my exalted soul cannot suspect that the mountain, once again, will reserve for it one of its adventures which will tear it away from the meditation to which every mountain dweller aspires.
