A report was received yesterday (Monday) at noon in the police station of Merhav Shefela about a young man who was seen abusing a dog while holding him outside an apartment window in the streets, beating him and shaking him tightly.

The suspect also threatened his neighbor with a knife who tried to intervene with the aim of stopping the abuse of the dog.

Police officers who arrived at the scene arrested the suspect, a 25-year-old resident of Rehovot, who began raging and attacking the police officers.
