4,145 of the 78,897 corona detection tests performed yesterday (Saturday) turned out to be positive, so the verified rate stands at 5.38%, the Ministry of Health announced this morning.
According to the data, there are 49,608 active patients in Israel, 877 of whom are hospitalized.
524 of the patients are in critical condition - 84 of them are breathing.
The death toll from the virus in Israel has stood at 6,632 since the outbreak, after seven patients died yesterday.
The coefficient of infection is 1.31.

According to the data, 2.2 out of every 100,000 people aged 60 and under who were not vaccinated became infected with the virus - compared to 0.6 people who received the three vaccine doses for every 100,000 of this age group.
In total, 134.1 unvaccinated out of every 100,000 people aged 60 and over were infected with the virus, compared with only 20 among the fully vaccinated.
These data come in light of the fact that about 70,000 people aged 50 and over received the third dose of vaccine.
To date, more than 846,000 people have been vaccinated in the third stage, most of them over 60 years old.
An additional 100,000 people have made an appointment for the vaccine as early as next week.
