A team of jurists led by El Salvador's vice president, Félix Ulloa, drew up a proposal to reform the country's constitution.
The document, which will be presented to the Assembly on September 15, contemplates changes such as the extension of the presidential term, the creation of a constitutional court and citizen consultations such as the plebiscite and referendum.
