The Brazilian Ministry of Health recorded 14,471 new infections and 274 deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
Reuters quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that the total number of injuries in the country has so far reached 20,378,570, while the total number of deaths has reached 569,492.
Brazil currently ranks third in the number of coronavirus infections in the world after the United States and India, and ranks second in the world in the number of deaths.
