21 new corona cases have been added in the Erding district since Tuesday.

- The seven-day incidence in the district has fallen slightly. According to official information from the Robert Koch Institute, it was 61.5 on Wednesday (previous day: 65.9). In addition to the confirmed Covid-19 cases, 21 new cases between the ages of 15 and 69 have been added since Tuesday (August 18: 12 cases). The number of confirmed cases rises to 7,330. Daniela Fritzen, spokeswoman for the Erding district office, named these numbers on Wednesday. The new cases come from Erding (9), Dorfen (5), Taufkirchen (4) and Buch am Buchrain, Ottenhofen and St. Wolfgang (1 each).
According to Fritzen, the number of those who have recovered rises to 7062. This means that 150 people are currently infected.
There are 280 people in quarantine.
Four Covid patients are treated in the Erding district hospital, three in the isolation ward and one in the intensive care unit, but not ventilated.
With regard to vaccinations, the next mark has been broken in the district: More than 155,000 vaccinations have now been administered, the exact number is 155,104 : 80 500 district citizens are fully vaccinated, that is around 58.3 percent.
The vaccination center coordinated 80 087 vaccinations, 75 017 were administered by the resident doctors.
