The director of International Relations at the University of the Americas in Puebla, Gerardo Rodríguez Sánchez Lara, stated in an interview with María Alejandra Requena that ISIS took advantage of the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan to carry out the attacks that left more than 60 dead and 140 injured in Kabul.
Also, some 13 US soldiers died and another 18 were injured in the attacks, in which the ISIS branch in Khorasan said in a statement that a militant of the extremist group carried out a suicide attack.
