After quite a few moments of tension and anxiety following heavy fog at the airport and a hamster, the Israeli national team plane landed safely in the Faroe Islands.
The team plane, on which the professional team and team players playing in Israel, took off from Ben Gurion Airport this morning did not receive a landing permit and therefore had to go on a rotating route around the island. In the end, the drama ended with a successful landing almost an hour late.

The additional plane hired to fetch the Legionnaires, which departed from Amsterdam received a landing permit and landed safely in the area at 2.30pm today.
The legionnaires are accompanied by the preliminary team that arrived on Friday, led by Avi Levy, the vice president of the Football Association, who are currently staying at the hotel and are waiting for the other members of the delegation.
