General Frank McKenzie, head of the United States Central Command, announced that the last plane in the country with US troops and citizens took off from Kabul this Monday at 3:29 pm (Miami time).
With this, the country completes the evacuation and departure of all its military and diplomatic personnel, ending its longest war, which began after the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001.
