An Iraqi security source announced today the killing of a leader in the Iraqi forces when an explosive device exploded north of Babil Governorate in the north of the country.
Alsumaria news website quoted the source as saying, "The commander of the military force of the Al-Jazeera operations command in the Popular Mobilization in Jurf Al-Nasr was killed by an explosive device explosion near the Al-Owaisat area," without giving further details.
An Iraqi security source in Diyala province had announced that a leader in the Popular Mobilization had been injured by the explosion of a sticky bomb that was placed under his car in Baquba, in the province.
