An unidentified person approached the Lebanese fence near the Metula area - and regretted it.
IDF forces identified the man as he climbed the fence from Lebanon to Israel.
Soldiers jumped to the spot and the man retraced his steps.
Scans are currently being conducted in the area.
There was no intrusion into Israeli territory.
Earlier, the IDF reported an unusual identification on the northeastern side of Metula, and conducted scans. The residents did not receive any special instructions.
IDF forces are investigating the incident.
