In Mexico, the magistrate of the Administrative Court of the State of Oaxaca Enrique Pacheco Martínez was assassinated this Monday, according to the state prosecutor's office.
"From the moment it became aware of the fact, the Oaxaca prosecutor's office deployed its multidisciplinary staff, who carry out the pertinent investigations to clarify this crime," the institution reported in a tweet.
Without giving further details, the prosecution reported that the incident occurred on the morning of this Monday in the Reforma neighborhood of the city of Oaxaca and that an investigation folder has already been initiated.
In its social networks, the Court regretted what happened: "We send our deepest condolences to the family of our dear friend and colleague of this court and we sincerely wish prompt resignation and consolation."
According to its website, the Oaxaca Administrative Court of Justice is the highest jurisdictional authority in the state "in matters of supervision, accountability, responsibility of public servants, combating corruption and administration of administrative justice."
