A senior citizen (91) in Krumbach has apparently raised a hash plant.
When the police tried to confiscate them, the lady initially disagreed.

- The police in the Swabian town of Krumbach had an unusual job on Sunday, September 26th.
At around 1.30 p.m., the officers went out after a nurse from a nursing home alerted them.
It turned out that a 91-year-old resident had unwittingly raised a hash plant on her balcony in the retirement home.
An employee of the home in the district of Günzburg noticed the striking appearance of the green plant.
After she was sure of her suspicions, she called the police.

After the officers arrived, however, they found that the elderly woman was obviously unaware of her crime. "The resident was completely surprised because she did not know the name of the plant and knew nothing about a ban on cultivation," the police reported on Monday to the Augsburger Allgemeine. "Since she liked the plant, however, and had nursed and cared for it for a long time, she did not agree to the officials securing it."
Only with good persuasion and after repeated declarations was the elderly woman still ready to voluntarily surrender it.
How the 91-year-old got the seed could not be determined at first.
She will not get her beloved plant back.
The plant must be destroyed in the foreseeable future because it is a narcotic, an official said on Monday.
