A study conducted by scientists from the University of Tennessee, USA, concluded that containing excess salt in the human diet helps fight cancer.
According to the “Science Advance” website, scientists explained that saltiness in food in certain proportions helps gut bacteria to resist and overcome cancerous tumors by helping the salt interact with the gut microbiome with natural immune cells, which leads to stimulating the immune “T” cells in the human body.
Cancer consists of a group of diseases whose cells are characterized by unlimited penetration and spread and the ability to invade and destroy tissues in a process called metastasis.
