The turning hammer at the end of the Spatzenberg in Wartenberg may no longer be used in full and will remain a case for the court even after years.

Wartenberg - This is what Mayor Christian Pröbst (CSU) reported in the market council meeting.

The experts do not agree, now another report is needed on how to proceed, said Pröbst.

The result: “We are still not allowed to straighten the turning hammer and at the moment we cannot approve it under traffic law.

It is not possible to use it completely, ”said the mayor.

As is well known, the slope on which the turning hammer is located began to slide a few years ago.

From the point of view of the municipality, it is a construction error, which is why it has been suing the builder of a house below the slope and the contracted construction company since 2019.

It is necessary to clarify who will pay for the renovation of the steep slope.

According to the mayor, a solution with concrete piles would cost just under 100,000 euros.

According to information from our newspaper, affected neighbors are also suing the client.

Pröbst emphasizes that there is "good togetherness" with him, but that a solution must be found in court.
