Hundreds of people protested on Saturday evening in Berlin-Friedrichshain against the evacuation of the left-wing autonomous car camp "Köpi".
The number of participants is in the upper three-digit range, said a police spokeswoman.
The demonstration from Rigaer Strasse to the camp site on Köpenicker Strasse is scheduled to last until midnight.
