The weather in the coming week is expected to be warmer than usual for the season • About 120,000 Israelis went for a walk during Shabbat


The summer may have officially ended, but the coming week looks wiser than usual.

Tomorrow (Sunday) will be bright, warmer than usual for the season, especially in the mountains and inland.

The heat load will be light to medium in the mountains, medium in the coastal plain, in the lowlands and in the northern Negev, medium to heavy in the northern valleys, in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Arava.

Monday will continue to be warmer than usual for the season mainly in the mountains and inland, at night there may be a drizzle to light rain in most parts of the country.

Meteo Tech said that on Tuesday it will be partly cloudy to cloudy and will continue to be warmer than usual for the season, especially in the mountains and inland.

On Wednesday it will be partly cloudy, with a slight drop in temperatures mainly in the mountains and inland, but they are still higher than normal for the season.On Thursday it will be partly cloudy, with temperatures higher than normal for the season mainly in the mountains and inland.

Israelis travel

About 120,000 hikers took advantage of the pleasant weather and hiked Saturday in the nature reserves and national parks.

Among the prominent sites: the Yarkon Tel Afek National Park with about 5,000 hikers, the Ein Gedi Reserve with about 4,000 hikers and the Caesarea and Ashkelon National Parks with about 2,500 hikers in each of them.

Other notable sites were the Garden of the Three and the Ein Afek and Ein Prat Reserves.
