A 17-year-old pedestrian was killed after being hit by a private vehicle on Road 352 near Moshav Otzem near Kiryat Gat.
MDA medics and paramedics arrived at the scene and performed resuscitation operations on the boy, at the end of which he was ordered to determine his death.
Senior MDA paramedic Haim Atia said: "The wounded man was lying on the road unconscious and suffering from a very severe multi-system injury.
He was without a pulse and without breathing, we gave him medical treatment and performed resuscitation but his injury was fatal and in the end we had to determine his death. "
Police said police arrived at the scene of the accident and an investigation was opened by a road accident investigator from the Lachish area.
