Maccabi Tel Aviv stopper Idan Nachmias, who did not recover from an injury, was released tonight (Sunday) from the Israeli national team.
Hatem 'Abd al-Hamid, a Hapoel Beer Sheva stopper, was called in his place.
As you may recall, Nahmias was called up for the game against Scotland but was not involved in the loss in Glasgow, remembering a shoulder injury from which he suffered.
Now, Alhamid is back on the squad and there is even a chance he will open in Willi Rotensteiner's 11 in a game against Moldova at Toto-Turner Stadium (Tuesday, 21:45).
