The coalition negotiations between the SPD and the Left in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania are making rapid progress, according to the two negotiators Manuela Schwesig (SPD) and Simone Oldenburg (Left).
The re-election of Schwesig as prime minister and the formation of the new state government is planned for November 15th, it was said on Friday after the fifth round of talks, which dealt with agriculture, the environment and climate protection.
Schwerin - At the beginning of the week after next, the negotiated coalition agreement should be presented, said Prime Minister Schwesig.
Further rounds of negotiations will therefore take place this Saturday, next Monday and next Friday.
On November 13, party congresses of the SPD and the Left are to vote on the coalition agreement.
