The quartet of the Israeli swimming team jumped tonight (Tuesday) to the first final of the European Short Course Swimming Championships in Kazan, and finished in seventh place in the 4x50 meter freestyle with a result of 1: 29.10 minutes.
The young quartet, which automatically qualified for the finals, included Olympic swimmer Dennis Loktev, who jumped first and set a personal best of 22.20 seconds, as well as Adam Maraana (21.92), David Gerchik (22.26) and Eitan Ben Sheetrit (22.72).
The winner of the ointment was the Dutch team with 1: 22.89, only three hundredths ahead of Italy, and Bard won Russia.
