The Non-Aligned Movement affirmed that the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and their lands and holy sites are a flagrant violation of international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.
In a statement reported by Wafa Agency today, the movement condemned the occupation’s escalation of its settlement plans in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially the recent announcement by the occupation authorities of a settlement plan to establish 3,000 settlement units in the West Bank, which would undermine any chance of establishing a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The movement called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and pressure the occupation to end its occupation of Palestinian lands and implement United Nations resolutions, including Security Council Resolution 2334, which calls for a halt to settlements.
