Clay Thompson has risen to warm up - driving fans crazy Israel today

2021-11-04T09:06:49.043Z

The sniper, who has not played for over 30 months, did not miss a single three-pointer, during a video posted by the Warriors before the win over Charlotte • Steve Kerr is excited: "There is a lot of hope and anticipation for Clay's return" • Stephen A. Smith tweeted: • Watch the video

At Golden State they will continue to wait for Clay Thompson's return, but the sniper, who has not played for more than 30 months, provided early (Thursday) morning a moment of refined hope for all Warriors fans (or indeed anyone who loves the written ball around the world).

As you may recall, Thompson has not actually played since June 2019 after his last injury occurred exactly a year ago when he tore his Achilles tendon during a shooting practice.

Early in the morning, it looked completely different for Thompson, who stepped onto the hardwood floor with the full Golden State outfit to feel the hardwood, a short time before the intriguing game against Michael Jordan's Charlotte (92: 114).

In a video uploaded by the Warriors, of course Thompson failed to miss outside the arc and for almost 70 seconds, the sniper was seen burying one three after the other.

Needless to say, the video went viral especially when coach Steve Kerr also had a hard time ignoring the post-match press conference.

"Of course there is a lot of hope and anticipation to see who we are and where we are going with Clay," Kerr said. "Everyone here is very excited about his expected return.

Man, I'm tired of wondering.

All I know is, watching these @warriors if @KlayThompson and James Wiseman come back and these boys are staying healthy, the @warriors are winning the damn championship.

Period!

"His return will have a huge impact on our whole team, Iguodala's return of course adds to the whole thing. Needless to say, there are great energies ahead of the comeback."

Whoever took a step forward in the comeback is ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith who tweeted: "If Clay Thompson and James Weissman are back and these guys stay healthy, damn it, then the Warriors win the championship, period, that's it."

Proud to be a part of the new #BOSSxNBA capsule collection.

Take your style to the next level with these looks.
