A road accident in Chiapas, Mexico, has left dozens of injuries and several fatalities, after at least two trucks that allegedly transported undocumented migrants overturned, according to reports in Mexican media.

the authorities have not released the exact number of deaths
.
Civil Protection announced that there could be at least 40 injured.
Reports in networks indicate that the migrants,
probably about 200,
were traveling in the back of the truck, which was apparently traveling at excess speed and hit a fence, causing many of its occupants to fly away.
According to survivors, most of the migrants came from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
The incident occurred on the highway that connects Chiapa de Corzo with the state capital, Tuxtla Gutiérrez, in a populated area.
Ambulances and first aid teams are already in the area providing services to the injured.
