The European Commission proposed new rules for "digital platforms".
The new rules could force trucking and delivery companies like Uber and Deliveroo to reclassify their drivers as employees.
The Commission estimates that the rules could impact between 1.7 and 4.1 million people and grant them paid vacations and minimum wages.
