Covid-19: New Zealander paid to receive ten doses of vaccine in one day

In order to benefit from a health pass, several people gave money to a man to be vaccinated for them.

New Zealand health officials have called the attitude "

incredibly selfish

".

In the land of the long white cloud, a man was vaccinated no less than ten times in a single day against Covid-19, reports the national daily

New Zealand Herald

.

A mistake ?

A strong taste for bites?

None of the above: the multi-vaccine received money from several individuals to receive the injection for them.

The latter wanted to benefit from the health pass but were opposed to the vaccine.

"

We are very concerned about this situation and are working with the appropriate agencies,

" said Astrid Koornneef, coordinator of the vaccination campaign in the country, to our colleagues.

The Ministry of Health did not wish to communicate on the location of the incidents, which allegedly took place in several vaccination centers.

An investigation has been opened.

The multi-vaccine in danger?

The man who received the ten doses probably needed the money, says the

New Zealand Herald

.

But does this stratagem represent a danger for the principal concerned?

Unlikely, for vaccinologist Helen Petousis-Harris.

On the other hand, he is likely to experience more powerful side effects than with a single dose, including more fever or headache, due to his body's stronger immune response.

According to the expert, it is the behavior of the individuals who paid for it that is dangerous, because they can continue to spread the virus under cover of a false health pass.
