Tehran-Sana
An earthquake measuring 4.6 degrees on the Richter scale hit Khanuk today in the city of Zarand in Kerman Province, southeast of Iran, without immediate reports of injuries or damage.
According to the Seismological Center of the Geophysical Institute of Tehran University, the tremor occurred at a depth of 8 km at 30.82 north latitude and 56.77 east longitude.
