The Criminal Security Branch in Aleppo arrested two people for stealing sums of money and contents of several cars in Aleppo.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of that, while one of the patrols of the Criminal Security Branch in Aleppo was carrying out the tasks entrusted to it, it suspected a person in the Mokambo neighborhood and searched his car and found money that was hidden in a suspicious manner.
The ministry stated that, during interrogation, he confessed to having stolen eight million five hundred thousand Syrian pounds and a military pistol from a car that was parked in Al-Hamdaniya neighborhood in partnership with one of his relatives, who was also arrested and admitted that he, jointly with the arrested, stole sums of money and contents of several cars within the neighborhoods of the city. Aleppo.
The ministry indicated that a sum of six million Syrian pounds, a military pistol and loudspeakers, had been recovered from the stolen sums, and those arrested, along with the confiscations, would be submitted to the competent judiciary.
