A 40-year-old resident of Jisr a-Zarqa is suspected of stealing from a cafe at Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera while he was hospitalized there.

Videos from security cameras show the man walking into the business crouching at night, taking money from the cash register and crawling out of it.

According to the suspect, he also caused extensive damage to property.

The court extended his detention by two days yesterday (Saturday).

Judge Yossi Torres ruled that the suspect would be returned from the detention facility to the hospital, this time under police guard.
