A 37-year-old midwife from the center is hospitalized in critical condition after being infected in Corona.
She is anesthetized and resuscitated in the corona ward at Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.
The unvaccinated woman, in the 37th week of her pregnancy, was first hospitalized and her condition was stable.
Last Friday her condition deteriorated and the doctors decided to give birth to her by caesarean section.
After the operation, her condition further worsened and due to breathing difficulties it was decided to transfer her to the Corona Intensive Care Unit.

As mentioned, her condition is now severely defined, and she is breathing and anesthetized.
"We are currently fighting for her life, her condition is difficult and unstable, she is in danger of death," said Dr. Ilya Kagan, director of the Corona Intensive Care Unit.
