Turkey recorded 18,796 new infections and 171 deaths from the emerging coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
And the Turkish Anatolia News Agency quoted the Ministry of Health as saying in its latest data that the total number of HIV infections reached 9 million and 58,975, while the total deaths amounted to 79,322 cases.
Turkey ranks sixth in the world in terms of the number of coronavirus infections, after the United States, India, Brazil, Britain and Russia, respectively.
