Netanyahu's trial: The cross-examination of Benjamin Netanyahu's former media adviser, Nir Hefetz, will continue today (Tuesday) in the Jerusalem District Court.
Yesterday, the cross-examination of state witness Nir Hefetz continued as part of the various cases of former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
One of the interesting issues Hefetz addressed in his testimony was the threat posed by former US President Barack Obama after Netanyahu's congressional speech against the nuclear deal in 2015. "Obama saw this as a threat to his status."
Hefetz later referred to an interview that Netanyahu gave to Dov Gil Har in "Walla" during the election period, in which it was claimed that it was conducted at Netanyahu's request: "" Walla "longed for Netanyahu to be interviewed there for the first time."
On the claim made by Ilan Yeshua, that there was no early summary of the interview, Hefetz said that "he is lying."
The state witness continued to attack Yeshua: "The reporters at Walla are sure that I edited Walla, because every time Yeshua said 'Nir Hefetz'. It's just a lie. The amount of manipulation I saw in the investigative materials that Ilan Yeshua did - is simply inconceivable."
