A man in his twenties was fatally wounded with a stab on Tuesday, December 15 afternoon in the Moyen-Vernet district in Perpignan, AFP learned from a police source.

The young man who presented with a chest injury was evacuated to hospital where he died.
According to the first elements, he would have been taken to task by a group of individuals for a still unknown reason.
A man identified but who managed to escape allegedly stabbed him, another source said.
The victim's 53-year-old father and 18-year-old younger brother reportedly tried to intervene in the face of the attackers to no avail.
The investigation was entrusted to the branch of the judicial police of Perpignan.
The young man, who had had to deal with justice for aggravated theft was not known for narcotics cases.
